Basquiat Cartoon of Artificial Intelligence eating Thanksgiving Dinner
In the spirit of the holidays, I decided to try a Thanksgiving related prompt. Judging from the results, it seems if A.I. celebrated Thanksgiving, they would dress-up as Pilgrims, Indians and Turkey while eating what appears to be bread, lol.
Weekly Random Acts of Evolution
This week’s RAEs is Strength and Confidence. Watching this recent clip from a Tyler the Creator interview, he talks about his confidence as a gift that one is born with rather than developed. For some, it is just like that and for others , it requires strength to build that confidence on a daily basis. That is why I have these going hand in hand. Organic confidence or not, strength is required to execute. That strength transforms foolish confidence into consistent productivity that is constantly cognizant of the effort necessary.
This week, I ran 12 miles across 4 days. On average, that is 3 miles a day. Every time I started, I dreaded the distance but I was confident it could be done because I knew as I continued running, I was developing the strength to keeping pushing.
In conclusion, I was confident of my running skills in general. However, not running in a while can have one dreading the time especially if it is early in the morning. Once I got started though, the strength was there. Therefore, sometimes it just takes some ignition to get your strength going so even if you don’t have the confidence at first, it will be there next time.
Between Space and Time
This week’s tech exploration takes a look at metaverse platform, Spatial. Spatial allow users to build templated or upload custom spaces. I have been using the platform for over a year now and I think it is one of the best in regards to being able to activate your own content without getting into the crypto-economics of purchasing virtual land. In the last 3 or 4 months, they have added more features allowing for easier onboarding with more templates and native furniture pieces that can be added to a space. My favorite newest feature is the ability to go live. This transforms your space into a true public “activation/experience” that can be featured on the home page and be inviting for others to visit.
Given this, I wanted to take my spaces to the next level and build themed-experiences centered around my art and photography. The space above was done for a friend and features images from a photo shoot we did. You can check it out here
Along the same lines of virtual spaces, check out the Digital Giza project from Harvard University. The map above shows all the pyramids that can explored in a virtual manner without leaving your seat.
Aesthetics of the week
Next month, I am getting a new fence added to my backyard. Might build one of these back there. lol
