This week’s RAEs is the beauty of silence. Sometimes we create energy where there was meant to be rest. That opportunity for rest allows for the external to react and trigger subsequent reactions. As individuals, we can seek to have the same benefits by taking time to listen and allowing for silence to drive change rather than forcing a response.
Between Space and Time
This week’s tech exploration blends into the world of Experience and Brand Loyalty! This intersection is at the core of Web 3. Outside of Blockchain technology, the future of the internet needs to bear these points in mind. Two brands that excelled in this area, Nike and Starbucks have taken strong steps towards becoming exemplary ways of how Brands can move with the technology and transition from Web 2 to Web 3.
This week I was lucky enough to be one of the first to onboard Nike’s new platform, DOTSWOOSH. With DOTSWOOH, Nike plans to enable communities through experiences, co-creation, and empowerment. This will be enabled by the technology of Web 3 thereby allowing participants to be educated and partake in rewards. In my opinion, this will be key for Brand Loyalty going forward. By engaging the community, Nike is establishing itself as an enabler of others in this space and providing the tools to drive them in this space.
Starbucks, as I highlighted earlier, can also do the same. They are already moving towards Web 3 with the Odyssey program. Going to my local Starbucks, I noticed they have a co-working space. I haven’t seen this many times at other locations but it has led me to think that Starbucks could expand its reach into underserved communities and further its growth in Brand Loyalty.
This is how one successfully makes the transition - understanding the value of your community and empowering them to participate in the rewards.
Aesthetics of the week
Creative fashion is an interest of mine as well. I love the vintage and color blocking of this outfit. I plan on making something similar and incorporate some embroidery like I’ve done here.
